Miss Tina's Studio presents Saturday evening dances for students of all levels.

Dancing from 7:30 to 11:00
$10.00 pp
Casual attire (no blue jeans)
Some snacks provided
Bottled water available

Ron & Tina lead a host of dance instructors, teaching various ballroom steps.

Their professional sound system provides the finest ballroom music.

All types of dance rhythms are played throughout the weekend dances
foxtrot, waltz, swing, rumba, tango, cha-cha, merenque, samba, disco, viennese waltz, quickstep, mambo and west coast swing.

The Beacon provides both rooms and suites for the total weekend package.
Weekend package includes: 2 Nights Lodging, Friday Cocktail Party with Hors d'oeuvres, Friday and Saturday Dinners, Saturday Champagne Breakfast, Saturday Afternoon Brownie Sundae, Sunday Breakfast.

Tina and Ron LaFlam are planning to hold a Dance Escape Weekend, Sept 12-14, 2008 at Woodbound Inn, Rindge, New Hampshire.
Weekend Package Includes:

Mad Hot Ball, Gloucester

Fifth-graders Strut their Stuff at the Mad Hot Balls in May!

Inspired by the film "Mad Hot Ballroom", Kathleen Dailey, teacher at West Parish Elementary School asked Tina Laflam to help set up a program to teach ballroom dance to Gloucester students.

After ten weeks of twice-per-week lessons, the students were able to perform tango (the favorite), swing, meringue, fox trot and mambo.

The students competed with numbers on their backs before a panel of judges who watched for style footwork and smiles. Miss Tina awarded ribbons to the very enthusiastic competitors.

One hundred fifty students dressed for the occasion and observed proper ballroom etiquette, to the delight of a full house of parents, friends and siblings. Miss Tina and the teachers were pleased at the enthusiasm of the students. "Maybe we shall do it again next year ..."
